A range of single and double check valves manufactured to BS6282 Part 1 in dezincification resistant brass. The valves are of a compact design that gives positive closure, silent operation and can be installed in any plane. All double check valves incorporate a test point as standard.

Applications

The valves are used to prevent backflow and back siphonage and when installed provide compliance to Water Supply Byelaws 11 and 16:

• Single Check Valves
  - Connected prior to water softener (Byelaw 22/23)
  - Unvented heating systems (Byelaw 90/91)
  - Supply to wet sprinkler system (Byelaw 28)
  - Downstream of meters and pressure reducing valves (no byelaw but essential for correct operation of equipment)

• Double Check Valves
  - Supply to hose taps (Byelaw 18)
  - Supply to standpipes (Byelaw 12)
  - Pipe connection to cisterns using part 1 float valves (Byelaw 24)
  - Supply to shower fitting (Byelaw 17)

• Shower Check Valves
  - Supply to shower spray head where shower hose pipe is unconstrained eg. air gap requirement cannot be guaranteed (Byelaw 17)
